We all received some exciting news recently about Apple's new iPhone SE (2020) and it seems to be really dividing opinions. What do you think about it? Is it a waste of money? Is it just an iPhone 8 with a special name? Would you consider buying one?
Or maybe it's a bold marketing strategy? Maybe it's a well-timed call-back to old mainstream phone traditions? If you remember the Samsung Galaxy Mega from 2013, that was a brave, genre-breaking move. Boasting a 6.3 inch screen, the Mega didn't just break the norm, it utterly annihilated it. Yet now, my daily driver is a Huawei Mate 20 X, equipped with a whopping 7.2 inch screen! That's the same as my old Samsung Galaxy Tab 4! My point being, maybe Apple have realised how ridiculous the standards of smartphones are these days. Maybe Apple are trying to use their massive industry presence to drag us back to a more reserved, sensible era.
